The Problem?
“How do I lead change when I’m not in charge?”
Leadership is at the heart of transformation across the early childhood education and care sector- translating vision into action, inspiring colleagues and guiding teams. Yet, without leadership development opportunities, as educators make the shift to leadership they often face:
Ambiguity in the responsibilities of their role
Uncertainty in how to effectively lead their colleagues
Expectations to be influential without authority
Our Solution
We offer a practical & empowering path to help leaders develop the confidence to lead with intention in their ECEC setting.
Our research-informed program and framework enables leaders to:
gain clarity on their role as a pedagogical leader in their unique context
build their individual identity as a leader
develop their understanding of the practice of effective leadership
develop skills and strategies for leading people and pedagogy with impact
develop skills to cultivate thriving cultures where educators feel supported and empowered
Our Process
We guide early years leaders through a structured yet flexible process that builds confidence, clarity, and capability. Our program is designed to be practical, interactive, and deeply supportive, ensuring leaders can immediately apply what they learn.
Our foundational engagement includes 3 days face to face and 2 online sessions to support implementation and shift in practice. This step-by-step journey ensures leaders feel empowered to lead with confidence, cultivate connected and cohesive teams, and make a lasting impact in the early years.
Through this sequential program , participants will:
• Explore a research-informed leadership framework to clarify their role and identity.
• Engage in interactive workshops and collegial discussions to deepen understanding and refine their approach.
• Apply actionable strategies through real-world practice, with ongoing support and feedback.
• Grow within a community of like-minded leaders, fostering collaboration and shared learning.
Where resorces allow, participants experience the full benefits of our program with the addition of coaching.

What are people saying?
“The Lead with Intention program provided me with a strong starting point as I stepped into the coordinator position for the first time this year. It became a safe and supportive network where I felt comfortable asking questions without fear of judgment. I didn’t need to pretend I knew everything, which was such a relief. What I found especially encouraging was learning that many others in similar roles faced the same challenges I did. The program not only equipped me with practical tools to problem-solve but also helped me uncover areas I hadn’t even realised I needed to think about.”
“It has been an amazing journey that has helped me to grow in getting to know and understand my purpose. What I believe. The importance of trust, collaboration, empowerment, connections and culture.”
“It has been incredibly helpful and insightful to who I wanted to be as a leader. It has helped reframe my thoughts of what a leader is. For me it was amazing having a framework to reflect back on and ideas of implementing in a school.”
